New Delhi. Bihar Young Thinkers Forum is organising its first virtual meet on 13th-14th June. Personalities from Politico-Socio and economic arena like Ram Madhav, Rajyavardhan Rathore, Jayant Sinha, Kranti Prakash Jha and others will put their views on The Road Ahead for Bihar.
Bihar, today, along with the nation is facing one of the unprecedented challenges in recent times. Covid-19 continues to impact the society, economy and politics in unimaginable ways. However, we have continued to evolve with the changing times and the circumstances. This too shall pass has been a resounding belief for us but it shall pass making us all the more compassionate and understanding.

Bihar with the discouraging socio-economic indicators has been at the bottom of the development pyramid owing to multiple reasons so Bihar must be discussed. Bihar must be a part of the national conversation. The growth story of India is incomplete without Bihar.

Bihar Young Thinkers Forum’s 1st Meet on 13-14 June

With this said, an upcoming entity, Bihar Young Thinkers Forum in association with two greatest global networks “India Foundation” & “Bihar Jharkhand Association of North America” (BJANA), USA is organizing a first virtual meet on 13th and 14th of June, 2020 on Zoom app. The theme for Bihar Young Thinkers Forum is “Bihar: The Road Ahead”. It was digitally launched on 5th June 2020.

BYTF intends to create a platform for an informal and freewheeling discussion on various issues that our state faces today intending to create leaders who believe to bring a change in the Society. Health, education, infrastructure, public policy and politics in general and in its minutest facet that affects the life of the citizens and the development of the state shall be myriad topics of discussion.

Holding China Accountable for the COVID-19 Pandemic: Legal Basis and Challenges

The virtual young thinkers meet will witness special address by senior political leaders, sportsperson, artists, thinkers and activists like Colonel Rajvardhan Singh Rathore (Member of Parliament and Olympian), Shri Nitish Mishra (Former Minister, Bihar), Shri Shatrudhan Sinha (IFS, Deputy C.G., Consulate of India in New York) Ms Sunaina Singh (VC, Nalanda University), Ms Manish Priyam (Eminent Social Thinker) and Shri Sheel Kumar (Film Producer) to name a few, on the theme and sub-themes like Ideas & Institutions for New Bihar and so on. The inaugural address on the 13th of June, 2020 shall be delivered by Shri Ram Madhav, National General Secretary, BJP and the valedictory address on the 14th of June, 2020 shall be delivered by Shri Jayant Sinha, Former Union Minister.

More than a thousand application for the First meet of BYTF has already been submitted to be shortlisted from for total slot of 125 participants. The two days’ meet will witness the conversation on Bihar centric issues with a constructive & solution-oriented approach following a constructive and solution-oriented approach to the issue. The policy,
prescription and deliverables suggested by the participants will be examined and also be submitted to the government.

BYTF in due course will act as an advocacy group that will participate through effective legislative interventions through a consultative and collaborative dialogue with the real stakeholders of Bihar.
