Bihar Young Thinkers Forum’s 1st Meet on 13-14 June

Bihar today along with the nation is facing one of the unprecedented challenges in the recent times. Covid-19 continues to impact the society, economy and politics in unimaginable ways. However, Human civilization over the period of centuries have evolved with changing times and circumstances. This too shall pass has been a resounding belief for us.

Bihar with discouraging socioeconomic indicators has been at the bottom of the development pyramid owing to multiple reasons. Bihar must be discussed. Bihar must be a part of national conversation. The growth story of India is incomplete without Bihar.

Therefore, Bihar Young Thinkers Forum is envisioned as a platform for young leaders from Bihar living across the globe. BYTF intends to create a platform for informal and freewheeling discussion on various issues that our state faces today. Health, education, infrastructure, public policy and politics at large that affects the life of citizens and the state.

BYTF will also create a loosely connected network of these young leaders who are working in different sectors and are spread across the world.

Thus, Bihar Young Thinkers Forum in collaboration with India Foundation, New Delhi and Bihar Jharkhand Association of North America (BJANA), USA is organising its first ever virtual Young Thinkers meet on 13-14 June 2020 on the theme Bihar: The Road Ahead

The virtual young thinkers meet will witness special address by senior political leaders, sportsperson, artists, thinkers and activists on the theme and sub-themes like Ideas & Institutions for New Bihar and so on.

It will be attended by young leaders as participants who will steer the conversation on Bihar centric issues with a constructive & solution oriented approach. The two day meet will come out with policy prescriptions and deliverables that will be submitted to the government.

BYTF in due course will act as an advocacy group that will participate through effective legislative interventions through a consultative and a collaborative dialogue with the real stakeholders of Bihar.
